Service Advisor – Electric Vehicle (EV) Maintenance
Role Overview Manage the customer journey from check-in to vehicle handover, translating EV technical diagnostics and maintenance needs into clear repair estimates while coordinating directly with workshop technicians.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet customers, conduct initial intake inspections, and log reported EV/HV issues.
* Open repair orders (ROs) and prepare accurate estimates for diagnostics, parts, and labor.
* Liaise with EV technicians to track repair progress and explain technical findings to clients.
* Recommend relevant preventative maintenance (battery health checks, thermal fluids, tires, HVAC).
* Provide proactive job updates and secure customer approval for additional repairs.
* Conduct final quality walk-throughs, explain invoices, and manage vehicle delivery.
Requirements
* Experience: 3+ years as an Automotive Service Advisor (EV/Hybrid experience preferred).
* Knowledge: Working understanding of EV systems (high-voltage safety, batteries, charging, regenerative braking).
* Skills: Proficiency in automotive DMS/ERP software and MS Excel.
* Languages: Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong plus.
* License: Valid UAE driving license preferred.
EV Mechanic – Electric Vehicle Specialist (Sharjah, UAE)
We are looking to hire an experienced Mechanic with Electrical/EV expertise to join our team at EVGate, located in Sharjah, Sajaa.
Key Requirements:
Hands-on experience with all type of cars and electrical systems (experience with EVs is highly preferred).
Strong diagnostic and repair skills for both mechanical and electrical issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
